Rehabilitation

Helping your pet regain mobility and strength

Recovery in the Comfort of Home

Our rehabilitation program is designed to complement your veterinarian’s care and support your dog’s mobility, strength and wellbeing. We use gentle, non‑invasive therapies and simple exercises tailored to your pet’s needs - all delivered in your home, where they feel most relaxed.

How our rehabilitation program works

Every recovery journey starts with an initial consultation. During this visit, we’ll talk about your dog’s history, observe how they move and interact in their own environment, and discuss your goals. From there, we create a personalised recovery plan. Depending on your pet’s needs, this may include:

  • Manual therapy: gentle massage, stretching and acupressure to ease tension and improve circulation

  • Targeted exercises: easy home exercises to build strength, balance and flexibility

  • Supporting therapies: acupuncture and laser therapy (light‑based therapy) to help relieve pain and support tissue healing

  • Home environment advice: tips on bedding, ramps and surfaces to make daily life easier

Throughout the program, we work closely with your vet to ensure the plan complements their diagnosis and recommendations.

Benefits of a personalised recovery plan

  • Improved mobility and flexibility: helping your dog move more comfortably

  • Reduced pain and stiffness: gentle therapies ease discomfort without adding or increasing medication

  • Faster recovery after surgery or injury: structured exercises support healing

  • Better strength and balance: building muscle and coordination to prevent future issues

  • Enhanced quality of life: keeping your pet active and happy at any age

Who can benefit?

A rehabilitation program can be helpful for many dogs, including those:

  • Recovering from surgery or an injury (e.g. cruciate ligament repair, fractures)

  • Living with hip dysplasia, osteoarthritis or other joint conditions

  • Experiencing age‑related stiffness or muscle loss

  • Managing intervertebral disc disease or other spinal problems

  • Adjusting to changes in mobility due to weight, illness or lifestyle
